    Interpretive Signs Unveiled

    June 16, 2010 From the Gorge Waterway Initiative website: "The Gorge Water Initiative has partnered with the town of View Royal, City of Victoria, District of Saanich and Township of Esquimalt to create a series of 12 interpretive signs that highlight key ecological and cultural features of the waterway." An unveiling was held on June 15, 2010 at the Victoria West end of the Selkirk Trestle along the Galloping Goose trail. B Channel News brings you this short video of the unveiling.

    Another Successful Bike to Work Week

    June 15, 2010 The sale of gel bicycle seats is sure to have increased over the past week as Victoria saw the completion of the 16th annual Bike to Work week. “Ultimately, Bike to Work week is an event to get bums on bikes,” explains the event Executive Director, Christina Southern, whose eyelids had not seen the other side of 5:30 am since the event began on May 31st.
