Video and Reporting by Pete Rockwell Front Page photo provided by: freegaza.org June 2011 Just a year ago, life long Victoria resident Kevin Neish, was on the Mavi Marmara when it was attacked in international waters by Israeli forces during the first attempt to break the Israeli blockade around Gaza. Nine people were killed and all aboard were detained by Israel, along with all members of the other boats in the flotilla. Towards the end of June of this year, up to 15 ships and boats will challenge Israel’s ongoing blockade (since 2007) of Gaza once again. In this 35-minute interview Kevin Neish, talks about his activist roots, his commitment, his apprehensions, and why he is going again.
